Bryght Skin Lyghtening

BRYGHT SKIN LYGHTENING
  • What is Bryght?

    • A targeted, antioxidant-rich skin care system that corrects uneven skin tone, unwanted discoloration and diminishes the appearance of dark spots over time. It is all natural, fast acting and safe for all skin types. Bryght can be used anywhere externally on the body, including intimate and sensitive areas, without disturbing the natural PH.

    • The 4-step professional system for salon/spa use, with the addition of the Let There Be Lyght LED wand, provides results varying from 1-3 shades Lyghter after just 1 treatment. For optimal results, maintain with the 2-step BryghtenUP homecare.

    • With continued use, Bryght targets discoloration to enhance overall skin appearance. Returning the skin to its natural tone without the risk of ‘removing’ pigment, or causing the skin to over-lighten beyond its natural tone.

  • What is hyperpigmentation?

    • Hyperpigmentation is the process that causes skin to darken, usually it is not harmful however it can be a symptom of medical conditions.
There are several types of hyperpigmentation including:

      • melasma

      • lentigines (sun/age spots)

      • post- inflammatory hyperpigmentation

      • ephelides (freckles)

      • smokers melanosis

      • facultative (uneven skin tone that changes during life)

      • triggers and activators of hyperpigmentation include:

      • uv radiation (sun exposure)

      • genetics

      • trauma / heat

  • How does bryght treat the above types of hyperpigmentation?

    • The professional & retail products contain natural “bleaching” & brightening ingredients to either achieve (usually) 1-3 shades lighter in 1 professional treatment or reduce gradually with consistent use over a longer period with retail products.

    • Best results come from professional & retail products combined.

  • Can Bryght be used on any area of the body?

    • YES! All Bryght products can be used anywhere externally. Underarms, bikini, intimate areas, face, knees, etc!

  • What are the common areas treated with the bryght system ?

    • Face, underarms, knees, elbows, inner thighs, derriere/bum cheeks and intimate areas like the nipples, anal region, or labia.

  • What are some common types of hyperpigmentation treated with bryght?

    • Most hyperpigmentation that has occurred over time can be treated with bryght. melasma, chloasma, age spots, sunburns, stretch marks, acne, redness, irritation, scars and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation are just some of the types of hyperpigmentation that can be brightened by bryght

  • Do i have to wax or shave before a lyghtening treatment?

    • It is highly advised to remove the hair prior to treatment, an open follicle will allow for deeper product absorption to see better results.

  • How are skin bryghtening results obtained?

    • There are two ways to achieve brightening.:

      • For best results have the 4 step in spa professional treatment 1-2 times per week until desired results are achieved, then maintain the results at home by using the BryghtenUp duo kit twice a day.

      • You can also use our BryghtenUp duo kit at home to achieve brightening results or to maintain your results between professional services.

  • How long until the results are seen?

    • Usually 1-3 shades lighter after the first professional treatment, but everyone is different. It is a natural product so you may need to allocate for time and commitment. Results usually shown 4-8 weeks of using the duo kit

    • Results at home will vary. Most people will notice significant changes with continued use.

  • How light will the area become with regular use?

    • The all-natural formula will safely lighten the skin to a more even skin tone. You will not achieve any hypopigmentation, where the skin becomes lighter than the baseline skin color

  • Do the products contain any harsh chemicals?

    • All bryght products are all-natural and do not contain harsh chemicals like hydroquinone, kojic acid or mercury. Hydroquinone is associated with many unpleasant side effects and it is our opinion that it is not appropriate for use on intimate areas.

  • What the active ingredients that lyghten the skin?

    • The main active lyghtening ingredients are:

    • Phenylethyl resorcinol: a whitening agent derived from pine trees that has been found to have the ability to inhibit tyrosinase activity. 2-3 times more effective as a skin lightener that kojic acid.

    • Lactic acid: aha to treat hyperpigmentation, age spots and improve uneven skin tone.

    • Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (vitamin c): a stable, water-soluble form of vitamin c that functions as an antioxidant and is potentially effective for bryghtening an uneven skin tone.

    • Cucumis sativus (cucumber) extract: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin-conditioning properties, reduces excess oil.

    • Emblica phyllanthus (indian gooseberry) extract: contains very high amounts of vitamin c, or ascorbic acid, a powerful antioxidant known to reduce wrinkles, suppress pigmentation, and help skin retain its natural moisture.

    • Ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin c): a soluble derivative of vitamin c, which is non irritating and more stable than pure vitamin c, which means it is well suited for extra sensitive skin.

    • Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (bearberry) leaf extract: bearberry extract has antioxidant properties, and is known to have skin-bryghtening properties.

    • Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) extract: antioxidant, skin-conditioning agent – humectant, licorice is a soothing and healing extract used to treat sensitive, irritated or inflamed skin. it also helps to reduce the appearance of age spots and discoloration as a natural skin lightener.

    • Morus alba (mulberry) extract: has antioxidant properties, but its main benefit for skin has to do with calming signs of irritation along with its potential to fade the look of discolorations and uneven skin tone.

    • Citrus medica limonum (lemon) extract: high levels of natural antioxidants, particularly vitamin c. research has shown the association between application of vitamin c and the protection of skin from potential uv damage, as well as its ability to help lighten discoloration.

  • Are these products safe for people with hypersensitive skin?

    • All Bryght products are formulated and designed to be gentle and mild enough for use on sensitive skin and areas. If you have any known sensitivities to our key ingredients, we strongly recommend doing a small patch test before application.

  • Are these products safe for pregnant women?

    • Completely natural and safe! However, it is not recommended for use while pregnant due to heightened hormones as this is when pigmentation can be caused. For best results use after pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Are there any contraindications to using to Bryght?

    • Pregnancy and breastfeeding – only since the results will not last while the hormones are heightened and cause more hyperpigmentation. For best results, use after pregnancy and breastfeeding.

    • Using bryght in conjunction with hydroquinone, kojic acid or any other harsh chemical that have the ability to strip or over-lighten the skin.

  • Aftercare

    • Avoid sweating or getting the treated area wet for a minimum of 2 hours after the 4-Step professional treatment has been performed or after using the BryghtenUPTM 2-Step system at home.

    • Avoid the sun and always wear a minimum of SPF 30+ to areas that are exposed to UV rays to prevent hyperpigmentation from returning or darken ing further.

    • Ongoing continued use of BryghtenUPTM will suppress and prevent future dark spots and other skin discolorations, to reveal radiant looking skin.

    • For best results, use BryghtenUPTM twice daily on the area of concern, once in the morning after working out and/or showering, and once in the evening before going to bed to allow for deeper absorption overnight.
